Bus Philadelphia Tips: What to Do and Where to Go on Mother’s Day (Part 3)

Bus Philadelphia is helping you plan a special and unforgettable Mother’s Day treat for your mom or your wife. That’s because we know that she deserves all the special treatment there is.  And what better day to show her that she is special than on Mother’s Day?

Bus Philadelphia has already given you a few suggestions on what to do and where to go. And because it seems that we never run out of ideas, here are a few more.

Mother’s Day Cruise

Give mom a day off and take her to a romantic cruise aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia. The Spirit of Philadelphia offers three Mother’s Day cruise schedules. There’s the two-hour Brunch Cruise, which boards at 9:30 a.m.; the two-hour Lunch Cruise, which starts boarding at 2:00 p.m.; and the three-hour Dinner Cruise, which boards 6:30 p.m.

The cruise includes a sumptuous buffet, some dancing, an interactive DJ entertainment, and a spectacular view of the Philadelphia skyline.

The Spirit of Philadelphia departs from Penn’s Landing.

Byers’ Choice Mother’s Day Weekend Craft Show

The Byers’ Choice 2nd Annual Mother’s Day Weekend Craft Show will take place on May 11 at Byers’ Choice Ltd., Chalfont, PA. The show will feature about 70 handcrafters. This will be a wonderful treat if mom is into arts, crafts and things handmade.

Family Workshop: Mummies’ Day

If you want to celebrate Mother’s Day with something new and unique, head over to the Penn Museum and spend the afternoon with the mummies. Families can follow the work underway at the Artifact Laboratory, which is the museum’s open conservation lab, then wrap and design a mummy together. This would surely be fun!

If you are celebrating Mother’s Day with the entire family, you may want to arrange for some transportation services with Bus Philadelphia. It will allow you to go to several venues and have a stress-free and relaxing day, not to mention comfortable!
